World of Warcraft<\/em><\/a> has given us plenty of timerunning shenanigans that have been chock full of Pandamonium in the form of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria<\/em><\/a>. But now, after several months reliving our adventures on the Wandering Isle and gaining god-like power with the ever-increasing Cloak of Infinite potential, the event is coming to a close. And it’s certainly been a lot more fun than\u00a0weathering another pre-expansion content drought with repeated runs of Awakened raids<\/a>.<\/p>\n

WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria<\/em> ends on August 20, 2024 at 7:00 am pacific<\/strong>, when this week’s maintenance starts in the US.<\/p>\n

The maintenance is a longer one, with downtime running until 11 am pacific, at which point your Remix<\/em> alts will be available for play as usual \u2014 without having to jump through any hoops to jailbreak your character<\/a>. When you log on to your former Timerunners after maintenance<\/a>, all of their gear and items will have been removed, but they’ll be given a fresh set of level- and class-appropriate gear, as well as a set of 30 slot bags. Level 70 characters will receive ilevel 467 gear, which will put them in a decent place for The War Within<\/em> when it launches on August 26<\/a>. However, motivated players could upgrade them to ilevel 480<\/a> through the Radiant Echoes event, which runs right up until launch day.<\/p>\n

Characters will keep any gold they earned during WoW Remix<\/em>, as well as getting an additional amount of gold (based on their level). Considering how low gold earnings were in Remix since you rarely sold items, don’t expect to come out of the event showered in wealth, but you should at least have the funds for early repair bills (and\/or transmogs). Be sure to spend any bronze before the event ends.<\/p>\n
