Being a bear is the best transmog you can have. You can’t improve on perfection, right? Of course a Druid should transmog anyway<\/a>, because you want to look your best even during the unfortunate times when you can’t be a bear.<\/p>\n

Okay, this is too hard. It’s actually me, Liz, here today. I was trying to be Cory, but I don’t think I’m cut out to be a bear. I’ve been playing an Evoker lately, and I bet you can guess where I’m going from here.<\/p>\n

I think Claw of Eternus has to go to my new Evoker. She’s been on modern Azeroth for all of five minutes now, and knows as much about the Bronze Dragonflight as the Infinite Dragonflight. Eternus and company don’t seem bad at all. Why not associate with the Infinites? Eternus has been generous with rewards of transmog, and there is zero reason to dislike or distrust him.<\/p>\n

So an Evoker can be the Claw of Eternus without any baggage.<\/p>\n

Which of the Remix mounts are you likely to actually use?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I do love all of the cloud serpents, and the thundering cloud serpents are especially impressive. But when it comes to a day-to-day mount, I usually prefer something on the smaller side, so I don’t wind up sitting on people or questgivers wherever I go. That crosses out a lot of mounts right there.<\/p>\n

The next consideration is flying: a lot of the Remix<\/em> mounts can’t fly. I don’t know why. A flying triceratops seems perfectly reasonable to me. (Though I admit that a flying yak would just be ridiculous.) But a non-flying mount just won’t work.<\/p>\n

I am probably most likely to use the Clutch of Ji-Kun<\/a>, a neat alternate bird mount. It’s unusual in that it doesn’t have any ground animations: it doesn’t land, sit, or trot across the ground when you get low enough. Instead it continues flapping its wings and hovering just above the ground. It must get tired, don’t you think? Every bird needs to rest sometimes, but this guy is absolutely tireless.<\/p>\n

Our journey to godhood was only ever going to be temporary. Our gear, our cloaks, everything we have earned in WoW Remix<\/em> will soon fade to memory. Today is your last day to enjoy your Cloak of Infinite Potential and one-shotting at-level raid bosses. The event ends when the servers go down for Tuesday maintenance.<\/p>\n

So, what’s next? How does one deal with being once-a-god? Well, first I think we might have a good cry over it. Even gods get sad sometimes, and a loss of godhood is as valid a reason to be sad as any.<\/p>\n

But let’s not spend all day on it, because we need to get back to work and attempt our next leveling towards godhood. Whether that means a future WoW Remix<\/em> event or playing this month’s most powerful class, we simply need to wait to seize the next opportunity.<\/p>\n

… and maybe re-learn where all of our defensive are keybound. It can be a dangerous world for the less-than-godly.<\/p>\n
