Whew! But despite all of that, I can feel the excitement in the community regarding the proximity to <em>The War Within<\/em>. And the questions today completely reflect that.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a good time to be a gamer, so let&#8217;s not waste much more time; it&#8217;s time to Queue.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"bw_queue_hr_v2\" \/>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_v2\">\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_from_v2\">KALCHEUS<\/div>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_body_v2\">\n<p>Q4tQ What is your favorite dungeon for grinding city tabard rep?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a while since I&#8217;ve done that, but my dungeon of choice was usually The Mechanar. Its spaceship neighbor, The Botanica, is another favorite of a lot of people &#8212; but I always found Mechanar runs more to my liking for whatever reason.<\/p>\n<p>However, despite the community usually pointing to those two Tempest Keep dungeons, the actual fastest dungeon for rep purposes is apparently Magister&#8217;s Terrace, from what I hear!<\/p>\n<hr class=\"bw_queue_hr_v2\" \/>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_v2\">\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_from_v2\">KALCHEUS<\/div>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_body_v2\">\n<p>Q4tQ What&#8217;s a good flying mount for a Blood Knight?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wowhead.com\/item=98104\/armored-red-dragonhawk\">Armored Red Dragonhawk<\/a> would be my top choice.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"bw_queue_hr_v2\" \/>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_v2\">\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_from_v2\">HIGH DENSITY WAFFLE<\/div>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_body_v2\">\n<p>What is going on in the Blizzard and general videogame worlds?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>I&#8217;m glad you asked, my dear carrot waffle! When it comes to Blizzard, Gamescom has <a href=\"https:\/\/blizzardwatch.com\/2024\/08\/20\/gamescom-opening-night-live-starts-soon-latest-xbox-means-latest-blizzard-heres-watch\/\">news for both <em>Diablo 4<\/em> and <em>World of Warcraft<\/em> <\/a>. Stay tuned for some <em>WoW<\/em> news tomorrow on the Xbox stream!<\/p>\n<p>As for the general video game world:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Terry Bogard got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PDPhkX2oMmQ\">his first gameplay video<\/a> in <em>Street Fighter 6<\/em>!<\/li>\n<li>Mai Shiranui &#8212; who&#8217;s also coming to <em>Street Fighter 6<\/em> in Winter 2025 &#8212; has been confirmed for <em>Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves<\/em>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RoLli5LBE-4\">she went through a major visual redesign<\/a> &#8212; somewhat reminiscent of how Cammy had her design evolve in <em>SF6<\/em> &#8212; trading her iconic (but very revealing, so much that Sakurai couldn&#8217;t add her to Smash Bros because &#8220;it&#8217;s a game for good boys and girls&#8221;) <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kunoichi\">kunoichi<\/a> outfit for a dark leather getup! Incidentally, did you know that Mai&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www-garou15th-com.translate.goog\/character\/mai.php?_x_tr_sl=ja&amp;_x_tr_tl=en&amp;_x_tr_hl=pt-BR&amp;_x_tr_pto=wapp\">favorite musical genre is heavy metal<\/a> (particularly <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ry2507\/status\/1824408547498791190\">Pantera<\/a>)? I&#8217;m eager to get those Hero Talents.<\/p>\n<p>My main for the past few expansions has been my Void Elf Monk, so it&#8217;s that one, no question about it.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"bw_queue_hr_v2\" \/>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_v2\">\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_from_v2\">MOVEWOW<\/div>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_body_v2\">\n<p>Do you have a favorite food for watching a TV show or playing a video game? Will you be preparing\/buying anything to eat for the launch of TWW? I use to take my kids to the store right before the launch of an expansion and let them go wild. Let me ponder my orb.<\/p>\n<p>Windwalker Monk is still my main spec, and it&#8217;s gotten some <em>major<\/em> improvements this expansion with a lot of quality of life being added, button bloat being reduced, and the pace of the rotation feeling much nicer. The only downside is the loss of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wowhead.com\/spell=392991\/skyreach\">Skyreach<\/a>. Good night, Sweet Prince. I loved you more than all the stars.<\/p>\n<p>Retribution Paladin is better than ever. It flows extremely well and the talents give you the option to customize it to your taste like few others.<\/p>\n<p>Shadow Priest didn&#8217;t change much, but it was already pretty solid. Like Retribution, it can also be greatly customized through talents. I ask, because while some Classes clearly had a lot of iteration and effort put into them, others have been left in their 1st Draft stages, and Blizzard is showing no signs of not being fine with shipping them as such.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>I think they <em>aren&#8217;t<\/em> fine with shipping Hero Talents in what could amount to an &#8220;incomplete&#8221; state, but the developers simply don&#8217;t have much choice on the matter. They have a release date to adhere to that likely wasn&#8217;t picked by them.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past few expansions, they have often used major patches to overhaul (or &#8220;fix,&#8221; in some cases) certain specs &#8212; and I doubt things will be different in <em>The War Within<\/em>, especially when you consider that Hero Talents are a new system with important balance implications. In theory, each of the 39 specs in the game has to work well with both of its Hero Specs, and they have to be balanced with each other. That&#8217;s a tough ask, so I expect a lot of fine tuning &#8212; and perhaps some redesigns as new raid tiers get released.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"bw_queue_hr_v2\" \/>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_v2\">\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_from_v2\">ROXXII THE RELIC HUNTER<\/div>\n<div class=\"bw_queue_question_body_v2\">\n<p>How&#8217;s the new HSBG season?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t had time to play much yet &#8212; only one game so far! I had so much to do yesterday! But I&#8217;m really looking forward to seeing all the possibilities of the new mechanic, <a href=\"https:\/\/blizzardwatch.com\/2024\/08\/20\/lesser-greater-trinkets-hearthstone-battlegrounds-season-8\/\">Trinkets<\/a> &#8212; I can already tell that power levels will be higher than ever &#8212; while also celebrating the return of <a href=\"https:\/\/hearthstone.blizzard.com\/en-us\/battlegrounds\/72042-leapfrogger\">Leapfrogger<\/a> to the game.<\/p>\n<p>This has been The Queue &#8211; get ready for <em>The War Within<\/em> edition.
